Dr. Kenneth A. Craig, age 79, died at 5:10 a.m. Sunday May 10 at Cook Health Care Center, Peoria, Ariz.
He was born April 4, 1908 near Keosauqua, Iowa to John A. and Florence Pearson Craig.
He was a graduate of Keosauqua High School, Iowa Wesleyan College and Penn State with a Doctorate in Chemistry.
He was Professor of Chemistry at Lawrence College and was in charge of Research for Kimberly Clark Paper Co. for a number of years until retiring.
he is survived by his wife, Mahilda Craig of Sun City, Ariz., a step daughter and two step granddaughters, one sister, Hazel Boley of Bloomfield and several nieces and nephews. The memorial service was held at the First Methodist Church in Sun City Friday, May 15 at 10 a.m. Interment will be in the Masoleum(sp) at Neenah, Wisc.
A memorial has been established to the First Methodist Church in Sun City.
