Lynn Robinson Nesbitt

Lynn Robinson Nesbitt, daughter of Stanley and Clara Pflanz Robinson, was born January 14, 1951 in Kirksville, Missouri and departed this life the morning of Sunday, September 13, 1987 at the age of 36, in Wichita, Kansas.

Lynn grew up on the family farm south of Cantril in Scotland County, Missouri and graduated from Memphis High School and Northeast Missouri State University in Kirksville, majoring in home economics.

She married Jay Nesbitt August 3, 1974 in Dover, Delaware. They had lived in Columbia, Missouri and their present home is Mulvane, Kansas.

She was a member of the Cantril United Methodist Church, Lynds Chapter Order of Eastern Star at Keosauqua and had been active in her youth in the Order of Rainbow for Girls and in 4-H clubwork.

Surviving are her husband, Jay, two sons, Byan and Jason, both at home, and her parents of Cantril. An infant daughter, Emily Dawn, died in 1982.

Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 16, 1987 with the interment of the cremated remains in Maple Grove Cemetery, Cantril, Reverend Harlan Naylor officiating. A memorial was established. Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua, was in charge of arrangements.
