Lee L. McGreer

Lee L. McGreer, 68, of Morrilton, Ark. and formerly of Fairfield, died on Wednesday, Aug. 12, 1987 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, Ark.

He was born on Oct. 26, 1918 in Van Buren County to George and Bessie Landess McGreer. He married Ida Mae Filson on Dec. 20, 1952. She died on March 31, 1968. He married Ruth Hootman on Jan. 6, 1973 in Memphis, Mo. He was employed at Dexter Company in Fairfield.

He is survived by his wife Ruth; a stepson, Dr. James Janka of Osage, Iowa; a step daughter, Carol Drewery of Morrilton; two step grandchildren; and a sister, Ruth Hendricks of Waterloo.

Graveside services were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, 1987 at Maple Hill Cemetery near Birmingham, the Rev. Phil Campbell officiating. Behner Funeral Home, Fairfield, was in charge of arrangements.
