Earl Dean Stockdale, Roseville, Ill., died Sunday, Aug. 9, 1987.
He was born in Van Buren County near Mt. Sterling.
He was married to Dixie Lee Rose, March, 1950 and he was the son of Leonard and Norma Eichelberger Stockdale.
He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Teresa; two sons, Leonard and Lewis; several grandchildren; four sisters, Namoi Wilson of Macomb, Ill., Ruth Eggers, Velva Freiburg, Memphis, Mo., and Irma Lee Bennett, Rock Island, Ill.
He was employed at a cement plant near Roseville and had operated the highway gas station in Milton in the 1950s.
He was a nephew of Mrs. Rachel Brewer of Keosauqua.
The funeral was held Wednesday, Aug. 12, 1987 in Roseville. Burial was in Roseville.
