Lloyd C. Keck

Lloyd Charles Keck, 75, of Stockport died Sept. 12, 1987.

He was born Feb. 26, 1912, in Croton to Charles and Genevieve Davis Keck. He lived most of his life in Van Buren County and also lived in Morning Sun and Stanford, Ill. He was a farmer and had been a truck driver for Norris Construction Co. in Ottumwa, and a driver for Timons and and Evans Co. of Kansas City, Mo. He was a member of Modern Woodmen of America.

He married Esther Giberson on Feb. 13, 1938, in Kahoka, Mo.

He is survived by his wife; four sons, Charles of Stockport, Larry of Wapello, Dean of Malden, Ill., and Kenneth of Ottumwa; a daughter, Betty Winters of Cave-in-Rock, Ill., 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Florence Sprouse of Salem.

The service was Tuesday, Sept. 15, 1987 at Burch-Raymond Funeral Home in Birmingham, the Rev. Robert Butt officiating. Burial was in Spencer Cemetery near Stockport.

Memorials have been established to Stockport First Responders.
