Donald L. Septer

Donald L. Septer, son of Wayne and Valera Hebing Septer, was born June 1, 1941 at Galt, Mo. and died the morning of Tuesday, August 11, 1987 at Van Buren Memorial Hospital, Keosauqua, at the age of 46.

He grew up in the Salem and Mt. Sterling communities. He was a body and fender mechanic and had worked at Corry Machine and Tool Co. in Bonaparte. Don married Carrol Morris May 22, 1965 at Milton. They have lived near Mt. Sterling. Surviving are his wife and their daughter, Theresse and son, Daniel, both of home. Also surviving are a sister, Ann Nordyke of Hillsboro, a brother, Mickey of Farmington, other relatives and friends. His parents, a son, Ricky Wayne, and a brother, Reuben preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held Friday, Aug. 14, 1987 in the Mt. Sterling United Methodist Church, with Rev. Andrew Rubenking officiating. Interment was in Harness Cemetery near Mt. Sterling. A memorial was established. arrangements were in charge of Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua.
