Nina Chipman

Nina E. Chipman, 86, of 619 19th Ave., W., Milan, Ill. died Sunday, June 28, 1987 at her daughter's home. She was a former Keosauqua resident.

She had been employed as a dietician in the Rock Island-Milan school system for 19 years.

Nina Hankins married Ira E. Chipman in 1923 in Mt. Sterling, Iowa. He died in 1979.

Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at First United Presbyterian Church, Milan. Burial was in Rose Lawn Memorial Estates.

Memorials may be made to the church or Quad-City Diabetes Association.

She was a member of the church.

Survivors include daughters, Rosalie (Mrs. Don) Milan, Rock Island, and Frances (Mrs. Dale) Whitcanack, East Moline; a son, Richard L., Milan; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Louise Keithley, Macomb, Ill.
