Fenton F. McKee

Fenton F. McKee, 80, of Stockport, died at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, at Jefferson County Hospital, Fairfield.

He was born March 18, 1905, in Jefferson County, to George and Anna Grant McKee. He married Gladys Morris March 29, 1930, at the Methodist parsonage in Fairfield; she died Dec. 19, 1985.

He was a lifetime resident of Jefferson and Van Buren Counties. Mr. McKee was a retired farmer and was a carpenter. He was a member of the Stockport United Methodist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Darleen (Virgil) Watson and Mrs. Annette (Kenneth) Davis, both of Stockport; two sisters, Marguerite Wright, Keosauqua, and Myrtle Gilchrist, Fairfield; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Services for Mr. McKee will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Stockport United Methodist Church with the Rev. Duane Olsen officiating. Burial will be in Spencer Cemetery near Stockport.

A memorial to the Stockport First Responders has been established.
