Tommy G. Rugh

Tommy G. Rugh, 85, Cantril, died at 12:04 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, at his home.

Born Sept. 2, 1900, in Scotland County, Mo., he was the son of George W. and Anna Tackaberry Rugh. He married Elsie Huff at Cantril.

Mr. Rugh worked as a machinist at the W.H. Pence Company and Dexter Company, both at Fairfield, and later farmed until he retired and moved to Cantril in 1968. He was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Hall, Oskaloosa; three grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Cantril United Methodist Church with the Rev. Andrew Ruebenking officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.

Memorials have been established to the Cantril United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society and may be left at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua.
