FAIRFIELD - Stacy Alen Nelson, 17, of Fairfield Route 4 died at 5 a.m. Oct. 12, 1986, as a result of a one-vehicle accident east of Fairfield.

He was born July 5, 1969, in Keosauqua to Alan K. and Cheriel Watson Nelson. He spent his early life in the Stockport area and had lived in Fairfield the past 10 years, attending Fairfield schools. He currently was a junior at Fairfield High School and worked part time at Hardee's in Fairfield.

He is survived by his parents, Cheriel and Milburn Fleig of Fairfield; four brothers, Rodney, Matthew and Corey Nelson and Kaley Fleig, and a sister, Renae Nelson, all at home; and grandparents, Lura Nelson of Mount Pleasant, and Kenneth and Kathleen Watson of Stockport. He was preceded in death by his father and an infant brother.

The service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield. Burial will be in Spencer Cemetery in Stockport.

Visitation is open at the funeral home.

The casket will be closed.

A memorial has been established to Fairfield High School.
