Darlene Fullerton

Darlene L. Fullerton, 50, of Oquawka, Ill., died at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, at the Community Memorial Hospital Monmouth, Ill.

Born July 29, 1936, at Burlington, she was the daughter of Walter and Mabel Lemke Miller. She married LaVon "Sam" Fullerton March 19, 1970, in Knoxville, Ill.

She was reared and educated in the Fort Madison area. She had worked for the O.M.C. Corporation in Galesburg, Ill., for 12 years. She was currently employed by the Midwest Biscuit Company.

Surviving are her husband; her mother; one son, Mark Fullerton, Lackland, Fla.; two stepsons, Tom Fullerton, Americas, Ga., and Dick Fullerton, Ankeny; one daughter, Alisa Avery, Smithshire, Ill.; one stepdaughter, Julia Kelly, New London; five brothers, Lennis Miller, Apache Junction, Ariz., Eugene Miller and Duane Miller, both of Keosauqua, LaVerne Miller, Milton and Gary Miller, New London; two sisters, Donna Wenke, Farmington, and Nadine Crandell, Mesa, Ariz.; six grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Mrs. Fullerton will be 10 a.m. Friday at the Carman Cemetery, Carman, Ill., with the Rev. Richard Boyd officiating. There will be no visitation.

A memorial has been established. Sederwall Chapel, Biggsville, Ill., is in charge of arrangements.
