Kittie Archibald

Kittie B. Archibald, 89, Fairfield, died at 1 p.m. Saturday at Jefferson County Hospital, Fairfield. She was born Octfober(err) 15, 1896 near Glasgow.

She was the daughter of Jesse Calvin and Laura Case Helfenstine. She married Frank J. Archibald, Sept. 15, 1910 at Keosauqua. He died Jan. 4, 1968. She lived most of her life in the Lockridge and Stockport area. She was a member of the First Augusta Lutheran Church of Lockridge, the LCW and the Rebekahs.

Survivors include two daughters: Nedra Fishel, Fairfield and Shirley Gustafson, Overland Park, Kan.; two granddaughters and two great-granddaughters; one sister, Myrtle Johnston, Fairfield; and one brother, E.F. Helfenstine, Greeley, Colo.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Raymond Funeral Home. Pastor Lenwood Monte will officiate. Burial will be at the Lockridge cemetery. Friends may call at their convenience at the funeral home.
