Willard Coffin dies in Idaho

Willard L. Coffin, 72, of Boise, Idaho, former Fairfield resident, died Monday at a Boise hospital.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Boise with burial there.

Coffin was born Feb. 28, 1914 in rural Fairfield, the son of John H. and Myrtle Waters Coffin, and lived in Fairfield until moving to Boise in the 1930s. He graduated from Fairfield High School.

On Sept. 28, 1938, he married Anna Parani, who survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Judith Crump, Nancy Eldred, both of Boise, Janice Overton of Emmett, Idaho; a son, Gary of Boise; seven grandchildren; three brothers, Raymond of Washington, Lester of Boise, Kenneth of Fairfield; two sisters, Mary Boughner of Fairfield and Pearl Waugh of Selma. Two brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
