Sam Lamborn

Sam Lamborn, 70, of Farmington, died 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, 1988, at Mercy Hospital, Des Moines.

Born April 9, 1918, in Farmington, he was the son of William and Emma Brickman Lamborn. He married Esther Troutman Sept. 17, 1939, in Memphis, Mo.

He was a lifelong resident of Farmington. He was owner of the Lamborn Construction Co. He was a member of the Farmington United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife; one son, Bill Lamborn, Donnellson; four daughters, Linda Martin, Christie Proper and Jan Philp, all of Farmington; and Nancy Lowe, Newton; and 15 grandchildren.

The service for Mr. Lamborn will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Hofbauer Funeral Home, Farmington, with the Rev. Fred Malone officiating. Burial will be in Greenglade Cemetery.

A memorial has been e tablished for the Farmington EMTS.
