Linda Lea Martin Jacobsmeier 68 of Farmington passed away at 9:28 A.M. Saturday July 30 2011 at the Van Buren County Hospital.

Born February 8 1943 at Farmington Iowa she was the daughter of Sam and Esther Troutman Lamborn. On September 17 1960 at Farmington Iowa she married Eathen Martin. He preceded her in death. On October 25 1992 at Las Vegas Nevada he married Mike Jacobsmeier.

Survivors include her husband Mike of Farmington two sons Blaine (Summer) Martin of Farmington and Ken (Anne) Martin of Farmington one daughter Beth (Jeff) Vineyard of Farmington, three step children, Isaac Jacobsmeier of Mount Pleasant Iowa, Zachary Jacobsmeier of Racine Wisconsin and Kayla (Josh) Schinofield of Ottumwa Iowa, and fourteen grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother Bill (Janey) Lamborn of Donnellson and three sisters: Nancy (Richard) Lowe of Keosauqua Christie (Kent) Anderson of Mount Pleasant Iowa and Jan (Todd) Loges of Farmington. Also surviving are several nieces nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Eathen Martin.

Linda was a member of the Farmington United Methodist Church She retired from the Harmony School District as a cook and currently assisted her daughter as a day care provider. She enjoyed swimming country music her dog her grandchildren and the children she cared for. Linda’s favorite holiday was Christmas.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday at the Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home in Farmington with Fr. Dennis Hoffman officiating. Burial will be in the Greenglade Cemetery in Farmington.
