Death Notification from Lurinda Rigsby Wedge to her sister, Dasreen Rigsby Blackburn, Friday, 17 [November], 1899.

Robbinsdale, Minnesota

Dear Sister & family, I will drop you a few lines to let you know that we have been bereaft[sic] of a father & husband he died Wed.15,99 [November] and was interred at Crystal Lake cemetry[sic] Thur.16,99. The children and wife morn[sic] the death of there[sic] loved one.

Lurinda Rigsby Wedge was a sister to my great-great grandmother, Dasreen Rigsby Blackburn. This note, in a black-edged envelope, is in my possession.
