Vegia Weller

Vergia Weller, daughter of William F. and Laura McLain Weller, was born September 28, 1900 in Clark County, Missouri near Farmington, Iowa and departed this life the morning of Monday, June 30, 1986, at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield at the age of 85.

Early in life, she taught in rural Van Buren County schools near Bonaparte. For many years she lived in Jacksonville, Illinois where she was employed by Bankers Life Insurance Co. She had resided the past eight years in Fairfield.

Nieces and nephews survive. Six brothers, Orville, Fred, James, Edgar, Harry and Jack preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 2, 1986 at 1:30 p.m. at Pedrick Funeral Home, Douds with Rev. Harold Harryman officiating. Interment was in Acasto Cemetery in Clark County, Missouri, southwest of Farmington, Iowa.
