Eula Humphrey rites Friday

TROY - Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the Troy Methodist Church for Eula M. Humphrey, 85, who died Sunday morning at the Bloomfield Care Center in Bloomfield.

Born May 31, 1901 in Davis County, the daughter of Calvin and Ellen Hunt Pearsall, she had lived all her life in the farming area five miles north of Troy.

She was married June 16, 1920 in Bloomfield to Elmer Humphrey, who died in 1980.

Survivors include four daughters, Irene Jackson of Floris, Ruth Vandegriff of Fairfield, Doris Walker of Redmond, Ore., and Elizabeth Rysdam of Burlington, Wis.; two sons, Wayne of Milton and Dean of Union Grove, Wis.; 19 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son.

Services will be conducted by the Rev. Marilyn Butler. Burial will be in Heildebaugh Cemetery north of Troy.

Friends may visit between 7 and 8 p.m. Thursday at the Campbell Funeral Home in Eldon. Memorials may be made to the Troy Methodist Church of which she was a member.
