HAZEL M. ROHDY

Hazel M. Rohdy, 94, Donellson, died at 8:35 p.m. Monday, May 12, 1986 at her home.

Mrs. Rohdy was born January 6, 1892 in Lee County and was a lifelong resident of Donnellson-Farmington area. She was a member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ, Donnellson.

On June 24, 1914, at Fort Madison, she was married to Grover F. Rohdy, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are four sons, Dale and Robert Rohdy, both of Farmington, Charles Rohdy, Donnellson, and Donald Rohdy, Corona del Mar, California; four daughters, Mrs. Harold (Ruth) Hennies and Mrs. Howard (Helen) Hennies, both of Donnellson, and Mrs. Betty Jury and Mrs. Paul (Jean) Grossman, both of Farmington; a brother, Harley Grimm, Davenport; a sister, Ollie Apeland, Donnellson; two half-sisters, Mrs. Harold (Charlotte) Cotta, Sun City, West, Arizona, and Mrs. Betty Grimm, Moose Lake, Minnesota; 25 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, a sister, and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Thursday, May 15, at the St. Paul United Methodist Church of Christ. The Rev. J. Winfred Stoerker officiated. Burial was in the Primrose cemetery.

Memorials have been established with the St. Paul United Church of Christ and the Primrose Cemetery.
