BURLINGTON - Robert C. Cousins, 53, Wever, died at 4:04 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, at Burlington Medical Center.

He was born Aug. 9, 1932, in Burlington, and was employed by the Sheaffer Eaton in Fort Madison. He was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ and was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

On May 1, 1976, at Demoar, he married Mary H. Millmeyer, who survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Robert V. Cousins, Iowa City, and B. Gale Cousins, Burlington; two daughters, Mrs. John (Carmin) Hand of Indiana, Kay Cousins, Bay City, Texas; two stepsons, Richard L. Ullrich, serving with the Air Force, and Rusty J. Ullrich, Wever; three brothers, Byrl of East Moline, Richard of Farmington and Floyd of West Burlington; two sisters, Anita Kuhn, Tempe, Ariz., and Mary Jo Lltman, Burlington; two grandchildren.

The body is at the Prugh's Chapel, Burlington, where final rites will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Dale Hempen will officiate.

A memorial is being established with the cancer department of the Burlington Medical Center.
