DONALD L. MILLS

Donald Lee Mills, 58, rural Hillsboro, died in Van Buren county hospital, Keosauqua, at 7:15 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15.

He was born June 23, 1916 in Van Buren county, the son of Gus and Edna West Mills. He married Edith Giberson Aug. 15, 1937, in Kahoka, Mo. He was a farmer and life resident of the Hillsboro area.

Surviving: The wife; son Donald, rural Mt. Pleasant; a sister, Mrs. NeElma Roberts, Fairfield; one stepbrother and two stepsisters, all of California; and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, at the Hillsboro Baptist church, Rev. L. H. Smith Hillsboro cemetery [sic]. Beatty-Jennings chapel, Salem, was in charge of arrangements.
