KEITH L. MCCRARY
Keith Lawrence McCrary died unexpectedly Friday, July 5, in Van Buren county hospital at Keosauqua.
Mr. McCrary was born July 7, 1899, in Bonaparte township, the son of Clarence and Sarah Guthrie McCrary. He farmed most of his life in the Bonaparte vicinity. He married Lulu M. Bowles in 1954; she died in 1966. In 1968 he married Marian Stewart Flake in Keosauqua.
Mr. McCrary was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was acting president of Pioneer Historical society of Farmington.
Surviving are the wife; step-children, Raymond and David Smith, Mrs. Kay Ferguson and Mrs. Sandra Smith, all of Dallas, Tex., and Mrs. Ardath Wiedner of San Diego, Calif.; 25 step-grandchildren, and one step-great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 8, at 10:00 a.m. at the Miller-Hofbauer funeral home, Farmington. President Ford Gano of the LDS church officiated. Burial was in Greenglade cemetery. A memorial to Greenglade Cemetery Assn. has been established.
