HARRY McCARTY

Harry McCarty, a former Van Buren County resident, died October 4, 1974, in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Burial was in Russellville, Arkansas.

Mr. McCarty, son of Thomas and Luara [sic] McCarty, was born July 4, 1888, at Farmington, Iowa. He was married to Stella Franklin, on July 5, 1916, at Keosauqua, Iowa.

He is survived by the widow and three sons; Paul, of Wichita, Kansas; Errol, of Sulphur Springs, Texas; and Warren, of Clearmont, Oklahoma.

A son, Wallace, died in 1942, while serving in World War II.
