Jessie Spilman

ELDON - Jessie V. Spilman, 98, of Selma died at 10:40 a.m. March 5, 1986, at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.

She was born Oct. 31, 1887, in southern Missouri to Franklin and Amy Belle Hull Cudworth. She married Frank Spilman on Feb. 7, 1907. He died in September 1968.

She spent most of her life in the Selma area and was a member of the Krow-So Club in Eldon.

She is surived(sp) by a daughter, Madelene Baker of Selma; eight grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Elizabeth Snelling of Douds.

The service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Campbell Funeral Home in Eldon, the Rev. Jerry Caughron officiating.

Burial will be in Iowaville Cemetery east of Eldon.

Visitation is open at the funeral home.
