Lucretia Downing

MILTON - Lucretia Downing, 92, of Milton died March 1, 1986, at Davis County Hospital in Bloomfield.

She was born Jan. 13, 1894, in Galesburg, Kan., to Ulva and Clara Acena McCaslin Frysinger. She married Clyde L. Downing on July 7, 1914, in Engersoll, Okla. He died in September 1981.

She is survived by a daughter, Darline Schafer of Milton; a son, Clyde Vernon Downing of Glendale, Ill.; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Rose Strutton of Fort Worth, Texas.

The service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Milton Christian Church, the Rev. Ed Poole and Jerry Caughron officiating. Burial will be in Dunnville Cemetery in Davis County.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. today at Priester Funeral Chapel in Milton.

A memorial fund has been established.

The casket will be closed at the beginning of the service.
