Irene Wollam Brasel

Irene Wollam Brasel, 84, of 1315 W. Prospec St., Kewaneed, Ill., died December 20, 1986, at the Kewanee Convalescent Center.

Born Sept. 16, 1902, in Farmington, Iowa, daughter of Edward and Daisy (Bowles) Wollam, she married Hayden Brasel June 1, 1927, at Fairfield, Iowa.

He survives with one son, Gene of Iola, Wisc.; three grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Edna Muir of Keosauqua, Iowa, Mrs. Vern Shannan of Bonaparte, Iowa, and Mrs. Nellie Verdigan of Boston, Mass. Three brothers preceded her in death.

Services were Tuesday, Dec. 23, 1986 at Cavanaugh and Schueneman Funeral Home with the Rev. James Breed officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Memory Gardens.
