Joanne Chaney, 55, formerly of Knoxville, Illinois, died November 4, 1986 at her home in Tucumcari, New Mexico.
She was born May 2, 1931 in Galesburg, Illinois to Alvin and Berneice Dredge LaFollett. She was a 1949 graduate of Knoxville High School and a member of the Knoxville Methodist Church.
She married Earl Chaney, July 2, 1950. He survives. She is also survived by one brother, Richard LaFollett of Knoxville and four sisters, Mrs. Lloyd Summers of Kenosha, Wisconsin, Mrs. Richard Henderson of Houston, Texas, Mrs. Don Seuntjens of Las Vegas, new Mexico, and Mrs. Renne Elder of Franklin, Virginia.
Services were held November 10 in Knoxville, Illinois with burial there.
