Audrey DeWitt

Audrey DeWitt, 71, of 201 S. Willard died at 9 p.m. on Feb. 26, 1986, at the Phoenix Baptist Hospital in Phoenix, Ariz.

She was born Dec. 19, 1914, in Keosauqua to Edward and Hattie Fraze Jamison. She married Harry C. DeWitt on Feb. 16, 1933. He died on March 24, 1978.

She was a 1932 Keosauqua High School graduate and was a resident of Ottumwa most of her life. She operated a grocery store at Mary and Sheridan for several years. She was a member of the Mother Church of Christ Scientist.

She is survived by one son, Donald of Phoenix; one daughter, Nancy Pickrell of Kansas City, Mo.; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marquerite Tuttle of Ottumwa and Edna Ruby of Moberly, Mo.

One son, DeWayne, preceded her in death.

The service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Shaul Cemetery.

Burial will be in the Shaul Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Friday. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday.

A memorial has been established to the Cancer Fund in care of Florene DuBuhr 3 Carter Court Lane, Ottumwa.
