HERBERT E. "GENE" REGUR

Services for Herbert Eugene (Gene) Regur, 59, of Carman, Illinois, Route 1, who died in Burlington Medical Center, Sunday, January 19, 1986 were held in Purgh's Chapel at 10 a.m. Friday, January 24, 1986. Burial was in Purdom Cemetery, Keosauqua. A memorial has been established.

Mr. Regur was born June 19, 1916 at Keosauqua to Joseph and Mary Regur. He married Joyce Pohren Tomey at Oquawka, Illinois in May of 1967. He was a retired manager of Crystal Lake Club and an antique dealer. He was a past president of Local 646 of the Muscians Union.

Surviving are a daughter, Judy Forbes, Gardnerville, Nevada; a stepson, Steven Tomey of Macomb, Illinois; a stepdaughter, Cheryl Jones, Burlington; two brothers, Donald Regur of Sarasota, Florida and Daniel Regur of Mukwonago, Wisconsin; two grandchildren and three stepgrandchildren.
