Emma L. Forney

Emma L. Forney, 79, of Bentonsport, died at 12:06 a.m. Sunday, December 21, 1986 in Ottumwa Regional Health Center.

She was born June 22, 1907 at Tiskilwa, Illinois, the daughter of John and Florence Barker Blessing.

She married William T. Price in 1926. He died in 1962. She later married Earl Forney.

She lived most of her life in Chillicothe, Illinois and moved to Bentonsport five years ago.

Surviving are her husband; four sons, Richard and Ronald Price, both of Chillicothe, Illinois, William Price, Peoria, Illinois, and James Price, Castleton, Illinois; three daughters, Leona Clark, Stockport, Eva May Westerman, Williams Lake, B.C., Canada and Juanita Ratcliff, Chillicothe, Illinois; and a sister, Dolly. Two sons and two daughters preceded her in death.

The body has been transferred from Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua, to Weber Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Illinois. Services and burial will be in Chillicothe.
