Clinton Prevett, 60, of Salem, Ore., formerly of Fairfield and Amana, died Monday, Nov. 6, 1995, of a heart attack at the home of his father-in-law in Truckee, Calif.
The body was cremated. A family memorial service will be conducted Nov. 19.
Prevett was born Feb. 3, 1935, in Peace Valley, Mo., the son of Theodore and Laura Moore Prevett. He worked at Amana Refrigeration and in recent years was a self-employed over-the-road truck driver.
Surviving are his wife, Virginia; four sons, Richard, Alan and Paul, all of Marengo, Clint J. of Salem; three daughters, Tammera of Fresno, Calif., Bett and Malissa both of Salem; seven grandchildren; three brothers, Theodore of Ottumwa, Glen of Stockport, Kenneth of Salem, Iowa; five sisters, Violet Oswalt of Amana, Mary Anderson of Livermore, Calif., Esther Goettsche and Sharon Koch, both of Fairfield, and Katy Ward of Paris, Ark.
His parents, a son and two brothers preceded him in death.
