Services for Harold E. "Buck" Buchanan, 80, 923 Brasher, Nashua, who died Tuesday morning at New Hampton Health Care Manor, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Connor officiating. Burial will be in Mount Moriah Cemetery. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Buchanan was born Sept. 10, 1906 at Libertyville, the son of David and (Silva) Brown Buchanan. He married Jeanette M. Wichhart Sept. 22, 1934 in Missouri. She survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Barbara Lawson of Nashua, Donna (Lankford) of Fort Dodge; 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Seven brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
A farmer and trucker all his life, Buchanan had lived in Jefferson County until moving to Nashua three years ago.
