Lucie F. Chamberlain

MT. STERLING - Mrs. Lucie F. Chamberlain, 93, Mt. Sterling, died at Van Buren Good Samaritan Center, Keosauqua, at 6:45 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 27.

She was born June 21, 1892, in Clark County, Mo., to Roswell and Artinsie Parsons Parish. She married William Chamberlain on Dec. 27, 1916, at Kahoka, Mo. They farmed southwest of Mt. Sterling; he died in 1973.

Mrs. Chamberlain was a member of Asbury Methodist Church near Mt. Sterling.

Surviving: Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Mt. Sterling United Methodist Church, the Rev. Marilyn Butler; Harness Cemetery, Mt. Sterling. The body is at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua, where memorials may be left for the Van Buren Good Samaritan Center.

MOUNT STERLING - Lucy F. Chamberlain, 93, of Mount Sterling died at 6:45 p.m. Oct. 27, 1985, at the Van Buren Good Samaritan Center.

She was born June 21, 1892, in Clark County, Mo., to Roswell and Artinsie Parsons Parish. She married William Chamberlain on Dec. 27, 1916, in Kahoka, Mo. He died in 1973. They farmed southeast of Mount Sterling. She was a member of the Asbury Methodist Church.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews. The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Mount Sterling United Methodist Church, the Rev. Marilyn Butler officiating. Burial will be in Harness Cemetery in Mount Sterling.

Visitation is open.

A memorial has been established to the Van Buren Good Samaritan Center and may be left at the funeral home.

Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua is in charge of arrangements.
