Mary Parrott Christensen

DOUDS - Former Douds resident Mary Parrott Christensen, 64, of Omaha, Neb., died Jan. 10, 1985(?), at her home.

She was born Nov. 27, 1921, near Douds to C. Raymond and Nellie Hootman Parrott. She was reared in Oak Grove east of Douds and worked at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant near Burlington. She lived many years in Omaha and worked as a nurses' aide.

She is survived by her mother of Douds; and several nieces and nephews.

The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery near Douds.

Friends may call beginning Sunday.
