KEOSAUQUA - Maxine E. Leighton, 60, of Keosauqua died at 7:50 p.m. Feb. 18, 1985, at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua.
She was born March 24, 1924, at Ottumwa to William A. and Bessie Holton Gates. She married Allen Leighton on July 1, 1942, at Lancaster, Mo. They (remainder missing)....
