REX O. BIRCHMIER

Rex O. Birchmier, 60, Farmington, died at 6:30 a.m. Sunday, November 17, 1985 at the Veterans Hospital, Iowa City.

Mr. Birchmier was born June 13, 1925 in Farmington. A lifelong resident of the Farmington area, he was an electrician. He was a World War II veteran.

Surviving are three brothers, Ross Birchmier, Livermore, California, Sam Birchmier, Keokuk, and Perry Birchmier, Iowa City; and a sister, Lavelle Moss, Bremerton, Washington.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

His parents were Leo and Blanche Prather Birchmier.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, November 19, 1985 at 1:30 p.m. in Greenglade Cemetery, Farmington with Robert Hambright officiating.

A memorial is being established with the EMT Unit, Farmington. Contributions may be made at the Hofbauer Funeral Home.
