HEDRICK - Leroy Robert Weir, 82, of Hedrick died July 27, 1985, at St. Joseph Hospital in Ottumwa.

He was born March 15, 1903, Douds to John Robert and Alie Felmee Weir in Douds. He married Madeline Anna Jofstetter on Nov. 20, 1928, in Ottumwa. She preceded him in death on Oct. 17, 1967. He then married Marie Meier Gullett on Oct. 19, 1969.

He ran the Minneapolis-Moline implement dealership i Hedrick until he retired in 1967. He was a member of the Hedrick Christian Church and Allborn Masonic Lodge of Des Moines.

He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Margaret Ann Weir of Des Moines; four stepsons, Loren Gullett of Indianapolis, Ind., Melvin Gullett of Roggen, Colo., and Vernon, and Larry Gullett of Ottumwa; 14 step-grandchildren; 17 stepgreat-grandchildren; and a sister, Beulah Plowman of Long Beach, Calif.

The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Fremont Funeral Chapel with Rev. Howard Reitz officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Ottumwa.

Visitation will be 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
