CHERYL R. PEDRICK

Cheryl R. Pedrick, daughter of Earl and Wilma Marsh MacKenzie, was born March 19, 1935, at Lewiston, Montana, and departed this life the afternoon of Tuesday, March 5, 1985 at University Hospitals in Iowa City, Iowa, at the age of 49.

On October 18, 1953, she married Allan D. Pedrick at Missoula, Montana.

She served as hostess at Pedrick Funeral Home, and was a member of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church and Beer-Barker Unit American Legion Auxiliary. She had been active in the Van Buren High School Band and Athletic Boosters when her children were in school.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Jeff and his wife Jeannie and Brian and his wife Julie, all of North Liberty; a daughter, Paula Countryman and her husband Charles of Keosauqua; and three grandchildren. Also surviving are her mother of Missouri, Montana, a sister, Beverly Arensmeyer Cuffe, Whitefish, Montana. Her father and a grandson, Michael Countryman, preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 9, 1985 at 11 a.m. in Our Saviour Lutheran Church with Rev. George Volkert, pastor, officiating. Interment was in Purdom Cemetery. Memorials were established for her church and the Van Buren County Ambulance Service. Pedrick Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
