Gertrude H. Strah
FARMINGTON - Mrs. Gertrude H. Strah, 71, Farmington, died at 3:20 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26 at the Van Buren County Memorial Hospital.
She was ill one day.
She was born Nov. 8, 1913, at Farmington, to Richard and Nellie Hellwig Moreland. She married Harvey Strah on Nov. 17, 1940, at Palmyra, Mo. She was a Farmington resident all of her life and she had been a grocery clerk.
Surviving: A sister, Thelma Moreland, Farmington.
Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Hofbauer Funeral Home, Farmington, the Rev. James Rozendaal; Green Glade Cemetery. A memorial has been established for the EMT unit.
