Myrtle B. Smith

FARMINGTON - Myrtle B. Smith, 76, Farmington, died at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Donnellson Manor Care Cetner(err).

She was born March 1, 1909, in Lenox, to Lewis E. and Winnie Munshower Bice. She married Harvey Smith Feb. 28, 1927 at Mt. Pleasant.

She lived in Farmington for 41 years and was a retired cook.

Surviving: One son, Howard, Farmington; one daughter, Martha Counts, Farmington; two sisters, Ethel Willey, Riverside, Calif., and Clara Morrison, Woodland, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Hofbauer Funeral Home, Farmington, the Rev. James Rozendaal; Green Glade Cemetery. A memorial has been established and may be left at the funeral home.

MYRTLE B. SMITH

Mrs. Myrtle B. Smith, 76, of Farmington died at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 9, 1985 at the Donnellson Manor Care Center.

Mrs. Smith was born March 1, 1909 in Lenox, Iowa. She had been a resident of Farmington for 41 years and was a retired cook.

On February 28, 1927, at Mt. Pleasant, she was married to Harvey Smith, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by one son, Howard of Farmington; a daughter, Mrs. Raymond (Martha) Counts of Farmington; two sisters, Ethel Willey of Riverside, California and Clara Morrison of Woodland, California; and 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, four brothers, three sisters and a grandchild. Her parents were Lewis E. and Winnie Munshower Bice.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 12, 1985 at the Hofbauer Funeral Home in Farmington with Rev. James Rozendaal officiating. Burial was in Greenglade Cemetery.

A memorial is being established. Contributions may be made at Hofbauer Funeral Home in Farmington.
