Agnes Roan

Agnes E. Roan, 51, of 1803 Exchange St., died at 8:05 a.m. Sunday, July 7, 1985 at Keokuk Area Hospital.

She was born Feb. 22, 1934, in Belfast, Iowa, the daughter of Francis and Margaret Burke Driscoll. She married Daniel C. Roan on April 28, 1952, at Farmington.

She was a member of All Saints Parish and a lifelong resident of the Keokuk and Donnellson areas.

Survivors include her husband; mother, Mrs. Margaret Lowenberg of Donnellson; sons Daniel F. of Elmhurst, Il, Douglas P. of Hamilton, IL and Joseph B. of Keokuk; brothers John of Fort Madison, Jim of Las Vegas, NV, Tom of Donnellson and Francis of Marengo, IA; sisters, Mary Knox of Donnellson, Mrs. Francis (Margaret) Hayes of Fort Madison, Mrs. Chester (Theresa) Bentzinger of Ft. Madison, and Patricia Hirchler of Las Vegas, NV and two grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her father and one sister.

Services were at noon on Tuesday, July 9 at All Saints Parish with the Rev. David Goetsch officiating. Burial was in Keokuk National Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to All Saints Parish.
