MARGARET E. BEATY

Margaret E. Beaty, 88, of Farmington died Monday, April 29, 1985 at 10:50 a.m. at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital at Keosauqua.

She was born July 4, 1896 in Illinois. He father was Ludwig Fauth, her mother was Victoria Leiman. She married John E. Beaty, October 21, 1912 at Wahoo, Nebraska.

She was a 10 year resident of Farmington, moving here from Hot Springs, Arkansas. She belonged to the Farmington Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, Alvin Beaty of Farmington; 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter, one grandson, one great-grandson, two brothers and five sisters.

Services will be Thursday, May 2, at 1:30 at Hofbauer Funeral Home in Farmington. Interment in Black Ledge Cemetery near Mt. Sterling, Iowa. Rev. Ron Hass will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorials to the Farmington Baptist Church may be left at the Hofbauer Funeral Home in Farmington.
