Shannon Dille

BIRMINGHAM - Shannon Lyle Dille, 45, of Beaumont, Texas, died July 30, 1985 of an accidental drowning in Beaumont.

He was born Dec. 20, 1939, near Stockport to John Vance and Grace Gregory Dille. Reared and educated in Birmingham, he served in the Air Force from 1957 to 1966.

He is survived by his parents; and three sisters, Myrna Cook of Batavia, Nedra Letts of Coal Valley, Ill., and Marva Richards of Columbus Junction.

The service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Burch-Raymond Funeral Home in Birmingham, the Rev. Charles McCracken officiating. Burial will be in Winchester Cemetery in Van Buren County.

Memorials may be made to Birmingham First Responders or the heart association.
