FAIRFIELD - Albert S. Eddy, 74, of Fairfield died at 5:55 p.m. Sept. 12, 1985, at the Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.
He was born Oct. 7, 1911, near Milan, Mo., to William and Ada Shatto Eddy. A retired farmer, he lived his early life in Milan, Mo. He lived in the Troy and Bloomfield communities between 1937 and 1950 before moving the Packwood, Birmingham and Fairfield areas.
He married Alice Paxton on Sept. 11, 1937, at Milan, Mo. She died July 15, 1983.
He is survived by a daughter, Kathy Cooper of Rose Hill; two sons, William A. of Avinger, Texas, and Jack of Packwood; seven grandchildren; a sister, Jessie Hemm of Birmingham; and a brother, James of Oskaloosa. He was preceded in death by two children.
The service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield, the Rev. Carl Riggs officiating. Burial will be in Wright Cemetery southeast of Fairfield.
Family visitation is 7-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
A memorial has been established to the Lung Association.
