Travis Lee Bradley

FAIRFIELD - Travis Lee Bradley, 14, Rt. 2 Wapello, died at 8 p.m. Thursday, at University Hospitals, Iowa City, of a self-inflicted gunshot wound which occurred at his home.

He was born June 6, 1970, in Fairfield, to David A. and Linda Slonaker Bradley.

He was a freshman at Wapello High School, where he participated in football and track. His hobbies included collecting sporting memorabilia and comics comics.

The family has lived in Wapello since 1972 and in Jefferson County before that.

Surviving: His parents, Wapello; one sister, Shelby Bradley, Ottumwa; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Bradley, Libertyville, and Mr. and Mrs. Percy Slonaker, Birmingham, Iowa; great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Gaylord Russell, Fairfield, and Eva Barber, Fairfield.

Funeral services: 2 p.m. Monday, Behner Funeral Home, Fairfield, the Rev. Duane Olson officiating; Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Fairfield. Memorials can be made to Toys for Children's Ward, University Hospitals, Iowa City.
