BIRMINGHAM - Mary Jones, 66, of Marshalltown and formerly of Birmingham, died at 5 p.m. April 21, 1985, at the Marshalltown Area Community Hospital.
she was born April 15, 1919, to George and Grace Miller Jones. She lived in Chicago for many years and had been a resident of a Marshalltown nursing home for the past three years. She served with the Armed Forces during World War II.
She is survived by two brothers, Kevin L. Jones of Marshalltown and Fenton D. Jones of Fremont, Calif.; and two sisters, Donna C. Kuczek of Oxnard, Calif., and Jeannie Shinn of Kansas City, Mo.
A graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Moriah Cemetery north of Douds, the Rev. Duane Olsen officiating.
The Burch-Raymond Funeral Home at Birmingham is in charge of arrangements.
