Thomas Adkins

FAIRFIELD - Thomas DeWayne Adkins, 29, of Fairfield died at 2:40 p.m. Sept. 14, 1985, at University Hospitals in Iowa City.

He was born March 2, 1956, in Fairfield to Lowell and Doris Medaris Adkins. He worked at the Dexter Foundry. He was reared in Lockridge and had lived in Fairfield since 1975. He married Sherri Shondel on Nov. 24, 1981, in Fairfield.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Kaylea; a son, Christopher; his parents of Phoenix; two brothers, Mike of Lockridge and Roge of Germanville; a sister, Lind Daub of Vinton; and grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Medaris of Farmington.

The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Free Methodist Church, the Revs. Charles Kauffmann and Andrew Daub officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 8 p.m. Tuesday at Raymond Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the family.
