HARRY M. JACK

Harry M. Jack of Burlington, Iowa passed away at Burlington Medical Center, August 4, 1985 after a short illness.

He was born Aug. 6, 1909 at Mt. Sterling, Iowa to Lewis and Carrie Scotten Jack. He married Lucille Noon, March 4, 1932 at Monroe, Iowa.

Harry was a painter and decorator in the Fort Madison area and retired from the Iowa Penitentiary where he was a guard and turnkey. He was a member of the Donnellson United Methodist Church and lived in Donnellson for many years.

Surviving are his wife Lucile; one daughter, Mrs. Gerald (Marilyn) Lancaster of Burlington; four grandchildren, Gerald Lancaster of Cedar Rapids, Jack Lancaster of Des Moines, Mary Kae Vorwerk of Cedar Rapids, and Janice Hyde of Burlington; and two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mildred Casady, Fort Madison, Emily Baggot of Mesa, Arizona, and Edna Newbold of Boone, Iowa; two brothers, Paul Jack of Keosauqua and Darrell Jack of Bonaparte. His parents, four brothers, including his twin, Howard, and two sisters preceded him in death.

Memorial services were held August 6, 1985 at the First United Methodist Church in Burlington.
