WILLIAM E. KITE

William E. Kite, 62, of Croton, died at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, August 8, 1985 at his home.

Mr. Kite was born October 8, 1922, in New Boston. He had been a resident of Croton for 27 years and was a retired employee of the Hubinger Corp. of Keokuk. A Navy veteran of World War II, he was a member of the American Legion of Farmington. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge of Keokuk.

On March 5, 1946, at Keokuk, he married Frances Schneider, who survives.

Also surviving are a son, Earl E. Kite of Hamilton; a daughter, Mrs. Greg (Doris) Stuekerjuergen of West Point; three brothers, john of Croton, Otis of Farmington and Charles of Argyle; four sisters, Esther Honeycutt of Keokuk, Ila Mae Vermazen and Nettie Alberts, both of Montrose and Reta St. Clair of Croton, and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers. His parents were George E. and Greta Harrison Kite.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 11, 1985 at the Hofbauer Funeral Home in Farmington with the Rev. James Rozendaal officiating. Burial was in Croton Cemetery.

Memorials have been established with the Farmington EMT unit and the Croton Community Club. Contributions may be made at the Hofbauer Funeral Home in Farmington.
