Fitzwater rites at Davenport

Wilbur Dean Fitzwater, 53, former Fairfield resident, died at 4:45 p.m. Monday at the Veterans Memorial Hospital in Iowa City.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Runge's Funeral Chapel in Davenport.

Fitzwater is survived by his wife, Aretta; and a son, Kurt, at home. The family address is 1311 W. Seventh St., Davenport.

Other survivors include his mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Fitzwater, Keosauqua; three sisters; Louise McFarland, Florida; Kay Hoyle, Washington; Doreen Richardson, Browning, Mo.; also five brothers: Dale, Fort Worth, Texas; Keith, Pekin, Ill.; Eugene "Shorty" and Donald, both of Birmingham and ........, Ottumwa.
